We will be exploring colour from waste streams ,and up cycling material through natural dye techniques. Looking at traditional dyes such as madder and weld. How to make your own artist materials such as charcoal and ink. Finding pigments and ochre in the landscape. And if you have really caught the bug then how to create your own dye garden!
This is a four session course on 12th, 19th, 26th August and 2nd September 1-3pm at the Woodend Neighbourhood house, 47 Forest St, Woodend .
